Vegra GmbH Dispersion Coatings:
The latest generation of Vegra aqueous based dispersion coatings result
from many years experience, plus considerable research and
development in numerous printing applications. Each product is carefully
formulated at the Vegra laboratories in Germany and is then
manufactured both in Germany and, under strict quality control, by
Pomeroy in the UK.
Vegra dispersion coatings offer you a cost effective and environmentally
sound alternative to traditional spirit based and UV varnishes, producing
identical and in many cases superior results, without any penalty in terms
of cost or ease of use.
Vegra dispersion coatings have been developed for application by
dedicated in-line coating units or via inking rollers. They are available in a
range of finishes, from matt to high gloss, and can be specially
formulated to meet your exact specification for rub resistance, slip and
viscosity.

For bulk or regular users of Vegra dispersion coatings our laboratory
facilities in the UK and in Germany are available to develop specific
products to suit dedicated press applications.
Adjustments to rub resistance or slip characteristics, blocking resistance,
subsequent application of UV inks or metal foiled can be all
accommodated at the manufacturing stage to give trouble-free press
production.

SureCoat Extra is our own highly cost effective range of coatings. Available in

Sureseal Extra / Sureseal Royale:
Premium non-yellowing, low tack, neutral sealer, which has been
specifically designed for overprinting and sealing printed
matter on papers and boards.
Methods of Application:
Coatings can be applied via stripping blankets, self-adhesive blankets,
Easy-Lac, photopolymer plates and Technolac / Folacoat Varniplate
coating materials. Many of these can be supplied with one piece bars for
faster press make-ready; please ask our sales team for
