It’s compatible with today’s ever-changing pressroom chemistries and the carefully blended polymer surface gives you quick release, good ink affinity and resiliency. The precision buffed surface provides a micro-textured profile that enhances sheet release and ink transfer. This solvent-resistant compound provides a stable base which resists changes in hardness or thickness which can occur as a result of solvent attack. o Colour:   Blue  o Surface:  Ground o Thickness:   1.95mm /  1.70mm  o Overall Hardness:  78º Shore A  o Compressibility:  0.15mm at 1060 kpa Typical 0.18mm at 2060 kpa Typical o Elongation:   <0.70% at 10 N/mm  o Tensile Strength:   >60 N/mm  o Face Compound:   Solvent resistant rubber blend  o Print substrates: Paper      dayGraphica® QL Defender:     (Top of page) The ideal blanket for high usage applications and where controlling costs are a major factor. High solvent resistance and smooth surface finish ensure high quality reproduction across a wide range of substrates. The thicker compressible layer ensures uniform print pressure in a wide range of press configurations and across all format sizes. Good smash recovery from paper and board damage further enhances this product’s value for money status. o Colour:   Blue  o Surface:   Ground o Thickness:  1.95mm /  1.70mm  o Overall Hardness:  78º Shore A  o Compressibility:   0.17mm at 1060 kpa Typical 0.22mm at 2060 kpa Typical o Elongation:   <0.70% at 10 N/mm  o Tensile Strength:   >60 N/mm  o Face Compound:   Solvent resistant rubber blend  o Print substrates: Paper          Novadot RED UV:    (Top of page) An EPDM blanket specially designed to meet the needs of metal decorators, sheetfed and carton printers using UV curing inks. Advantages: o New surface for higher ink transfers - superb rich solids. o No sacrifice of print quality - sharp halftones and open reverses. o EPDM compound gives maximum life with UV curing inks. o Fast sheet release, due to micro ground finish. o High smash resistance and tolerance to over pressure.   Novadot UV:    (Top of page) Dedicated EPDM surface, formulated to resist chemical attack and swelling caused by UV curing inks. It's specially designed micro-ground surface ensures sharp print quality and excellent sheet release in a wide range of materials. Novadot UV has a thick micro-sphere compressible layer, ensuring durability of the blanket and smash resistance.             dayGraphica® 7000:    (Top of page) Higher press speeds and longer blanket life expectations are normal requirements in today’s carton printing industry. In the past, the use of UV drying inks and a wide range of UV wash solvents from a variety of manufacturers, has shortened blanket life due to swelling or embossing of the image areas. As a result, blanket changes and more critically, press downtime costs, make an already competitive business an even more difficult environment. Flint Group have developed a new surface compound to resist the swelling effects of UV inks, whilst maintaining the capability to produce high quality print on a variety of substrates. With many printers running both UV and conventional ink systems, versatility was prescribed as an essential part of the development brief. The final surface compound will also give outstanding performance on conventional ink and wash systems, eliminating the need to use two different blanket types. o Colour:   Magenta o Surface:   Ground o Thickness:   1.95mm /  1.70mm  o Overall Hardness:  78º Shore A  o Compressibility:   0.17mm at 1060 kpa Typical 0.22mm at 2060 kpa Typical o Elongation:   <0.70% at 10 N/mm  o Tensile Strength:  >60 N/mm  o Face Compound:  Modified solvent and ink resistant rubber blend.  o Print substrates: Paper and Carton      DUCO Accura:     (Top of page) High quality blanket for sheetfed printing. The benefits of using Accura are exceptional ink transfer properties, minimal dot gain and dense even solids, excellent smash resistance (ensuring extended blanket life), outstanding edge cut resistance, and easy blanket cleaning. The surface characteristics of Accura are particularly suited for use with Toray waterless plates. o Colour:   Blue o Surface:  Micro Ground o Thickness:  1.95mm /  1.70mm  o Overall Hardness:   75º Shore A  o Compressibility:  0.15mm at 1060 kpa Typical 0.21mm at 2060 kpa Typical o Elongation:  <0.70% at 10 N/mm  o Tensile Strength:  >60 N/mm  o Face Compound:   Solvent resistant rubber blend  o Print substrates: Paper and Carton © Pomeroy Pressroom Products Ltd 2010 Website design by: AH Designs Finito™: Improve your blankets performance while saving money!
