The Epson Stylus™ Pro WT7900 is an affordable, low maintenance proofer that in addition to the wide, eight colour gamut of the Epson UltraChrome® ink range, utilises the water-based White Ink to produce high quality, colour accurate package proofs on both clear and opaque substrates, and is also environmentally-friendly. When paired with Star Proof, the Epson Stylus™ Pro WT7900 offers a true dot proofing solution for the Flexo, Gravure, Letterpress and Offset sectors, with features and controls unavailable in other inkjet proofing solutions.

The World's First Aqueous-Based White Printing Technology. The Epson Stylus™ Pro WT7900 was designed specifically for contract-quality proofs and mock-ups for various flexographic and gravure printing products such as packaging. The Epson Stylus Pro WT7900 incorporates Epsons latest achievements in high-resolution ink jet technology - including their breakthrough Epson UltraChrome® HDR White Ink and hence is the perfect solution for printing directly onto inkjet coated clear and metallic films (Epson ClearProof™ and Epson MetallicProof™). Epson UltraChrome® HDR White Ink introduces an all-new Organic Hollow Resin Particle Technology, which forces light to randomly scatter, producing the illusion of seeing the colour white. This innovative way to produce the colour white yields an amazing white ink density, ability for custom white colour toning, and provides professional short-term colour stability for mission-critical colour proofing on a range of new substrates including ink jet coated transparent and metallic films. Unlike traditional white ink chemistry, Epson UltraChrome® HDR White Ink is a safer, water-based resin particle - void of any known carcinogens. Capable of printing directly on both ink jet coated clear and metallic films, in roll or cut sheet, up to 24 inches wide, the Epson Stylus™ Pro WT7900 can proof virtually any size print job thrown at it.
